We booked this place during out trip to Dharamshala and
Dalhousie based on a reference when we were unable to find anything in
Dalhousie. And let me say that we did not regret the decision at all. The stay
was for 3 days and 2 nights and we will cherish the memories for years.
Its located about 6 kms away from Dalhousie bus stand on the
way to Khajjiar. Set on a hill top it is surrounded by the Himalyan Mountains
on one side and Deodar forest on the other.
There are cottages with the clay look and an ensemble of
furniture and interiors that give you the English classic feel, the balconies
overlooking the mountains. A recreational cum reading room, a beautifully
designed indoor and outdoor dining area. Simple, comfortable and elegant. You
can choose to eat outdoors enjoying the mountain breeze and the beautiful
ranges, few of them snow caped.
We could sit for hours in our cottage balcony enjoying the
mesmerizing view, soul quenching silence, reading our books. The only sound
that one hears is that of a dog barking in a far away village or a car passing
by on the hill road. To take a break from solace, walk down the road, or go to
see Dalhousie market and Khajjiar.
Last but not the least take the early morning nature walk
guided by the hotel staff. The food is amazingly delicious, quite a luxury to
find good food in the hills. You can try butter chicken, dal fry, Chinese soups
and dishes, exceeding expectations of a Delhiite. The service is excellent and
the staff commendable. The hotel offers all the basic amenities with a great
class.

There may be a little network problem in some areas of the
hotel, but who cares as even a phone ringing is an intrusion to nature here.
Staying here is like being close to self, being real and simple. We pledge to
go again.
